Where did you get the inspiration for your book’s cover?

To me, the book cover is very simple yet profound. Two hands are carefully holding a growing plant or flower. As you continue to care for and nurture the plant, which signifies your life, your life begins to transform in remarkable ways. The ripple effect of Sowing Seeds on a daily basis creates a profound change when done over a long period of time.

Who has been the most significant influence on you personally and as a writer?

Both of my parents. My mom has several published Children's books to help kids learn to read better. She included each letter of the alphabet in both upper and lower case which is a great learning tool. Her years of dedication were very inspiring. My father is also a published writer with over 30 or 40 books. His ability to craft compelling stories and continue to write best selling books has been inspiring.

What were your struggles or obstacles you had to overcome to get this book written?

When I was in my early thirties, I created a bucket list of things I wanted to achieve before the age of forty, and one of those things was to write a book. I was never a writer, had any idea of what to write, how to publish a book, or really any background in writing, so it was hard to ever get started. Having self-published 3 books now and with several more on the way, it is very surreal to call myself an author. The books were all written not with any desire or goal of becoming best sellers but just as a way to take some of my life experiences and maybe help someone in an area of their life where they were struggling. A way to pay it forward and make a profound impact in a person's life. A new way of doing things that shifted the mindset of selfishness to selflessness and how fulfilling that change truly is.

Tell your readers about your book.

Sowing Seeds for Abundance has been a transformative guide for my life put into a written book. The insights help readers break free from limiting beliefs and cultivate a mindset of Abundance in the areas of life that are truly meaningful. Having a growth mindset is a lifelong journey. Giving my life to the Lord has been my greatest success. Knowing my life is in God's hands provides a peace that makes all of the other life successes seem small in comparison. I'm not a preacher or live my life in church every Sunday or a traveling missionary but feel God can meet you whenever and wherever you are.

What one unique thing sets you apart from other writers in your genre?

I think every writer brings a unique perspective to writing. My writing conveys a high level of empathy and emotional intelligence. I truly want the best for people and myself, so I try to make a meaningful impact when writing.
