I grew up in the heart of the Midwest—the heartland of the United States and I attended college in the Pacific Northwest.
What inspired you to author this book?
My passion is sharing the
stories of people who I call Guiding Lights. These people are like beacons of
light for the rest of us, illuminating the path to our personal success.
This book is the second book in the Guiding Light Series and features stories
from thought leaders from different backgrounds.
I am very excited about this volume. Fresh new stories and wisdom for us all in
2022!

Where did you get the inspiration for your book’s cover?
I chose the cover to ensure that it sets the tone for the reader before they open the book. It’s inspiring.
Who has been the most significant influence on you personally and as a writer?
My biggest influence is
probably from all the reading that I have done. As a child, I dove into books
and as I got older I continued to read and read, particularly short story
authors and poetry.
I am also greatly influenced by the other authors of this book.

What were the struggles or obstacles you had to overcome to get this book written?
There really weren’t any
struggles surprisingly. This is my second go-around with this style of book, so
I think I have it generally pinned down.
Meeting deadlines is always a challenge but overall the authors and
contributors of this book made it very easy.

Mind Shift 2022, is a
co-authorship. It’s a collaborative effort of thought leaders that joined
forces to put together an amazing book.
Readers will learn so much and be inspired by the authors and contributors, as
they share their unique stories.
This book is the second Volume in the Guiding Light Series and we are so
excited to launch this to the readers. So many people are about to be inspired!

I would say if you are looking for a mindset shift if you are looking for motivation if you are looking for uplifting stories, and positive messages, then this is the book for you.

What do you consider your greatest success in life?
Success means different things to different people. For me, overcoming the challenges I had early in life and now being able to help other people with my stories while raising a good family —I’m successful.
What one unique thing
sets you apart from other writers in your genre?
I generally don’t compare
myself to others, but I think what sets me apart is that I go above and beyond
to deliver amazing stories from real people that are doing really amazing
things.
