Tell your readers a little about yourself, where you grew up, where you live now, where you went to school etc. Let them get to know the personal you.

I was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Brooklyn, NYC, NY. I am the youngest of 4 children my parents had. I grew up in and out of Church, and since I was young, I knew I was Gay and despised myself for it for decades. I did not understand many things about God, why I was this way, etc. Later in life, and through the Love of Christ in my life, He led me to great revelation as to my condition, which was the only way I accepted myself because I know God Loves me no matter what.

What inspired you to author this book?

The inspiration for this book was my life and my walk with Christ, since childhood. The conflict and internal turmoil that created within the breadth and scope of who I am and my questioning of God's Love or hatred toward me for me being Gay yet believing and living him. This book chronicles that relationship and my growth, and it also has Biblical, Scientific, and Anecdotal evidence as to why I DID NOT CHOOSE to be gay, as many say.

Where did you get the inspiration for your book’s cover?

The inspiration for the cover came from my own life, and so was the title. It is a "Questomation:" a question mark and an exclamation mark, which I'm in the process of trademarking. This Symbol represents my life because it depicts me as questioning God's love for me (am i? portion of symbol and title) in the context of being Gay, and then it ends up with and it ends up with a statement of "I AM!," (Second portion of title) because I AM A Son of God (3rd. portion of title). To start life questioning and knowing is awesome growth: hence, the book.

Who has been the most significant influence on you personally and as a writer?

I've always been some sort of loner and to myself. Though I can be lively too, I am mainly reserved. I never really had heroes nor wanted to be like anyone but myself, whatever that was. and I have been this way since I was a Child. My greatest inspiration has been God, actually, because going through the process of basically hating me for being gay to accepting me and even loving and respecting me was awesome and great, and it was God who guided me through this process. Man would either say that I was going to hell at churches or would try to persuade me away from God. But God taught me about me through himself.

What were the struggles or obstacles you had to overcome to get this book written?

OMG! This is my first book, ever, and I did not have any help from anyone other than praying to God and doing what I thought He'd put in my heart to do. I first wrote this book in longhand, and every day for a year or so, I would just get up every morning and write for hours. Then came the process of putting it into the computer, which was another can of worms I had to handle. And I did. the editing and so forth. It was quite the adventure that took me like 5 years too. It was easier when I was unemployed, but when I got a job, it greatly hindered my writing to the point of stopping and making me feel like a bad human being, so I quit the job and eventually started writing and finished the book.

Tell your readers about your book.

This book is about learning to execute the power to become a Son of God as you are, in Christ. Why Gay was NOT my Choice, God made me this way. I will prove it Biblically, Scientifically, and Anecdotally.  You too, will prove it Anecdotally.  Even being Gay, I AM A Beloved Son of God in whom My Abba Father is well Pleased with me simply being me, in Christ.  You will also be able to confirm my Gaysoquence™ with your life.

Who is your target audience, and why?

My target audience is anyone who feels God hates them or is angry with them for who they are. Yes, the gay community, but also straight people who have been bombarded at churches and told that they will go to hell for their mistakes, etc. It is also for those who want to learn how to unleash the power to become Sons of God because the Bible says that the World eagerly awaits for the sons of God to reveal themselves, and many, if not most, of Church folks, are stuck in the Child of God or Man/Woman or God mode, and the word does not say that the world eagerly awaits for them to be revealed, for they have been revealed already and its already in the Bible. I wonder what type of World we would live in if the Sons of God revealed themselves; what does that mean, and what would it look like?

What do you consider your greatest success in life?

My greatest success in life has been my relationship with God because I no longer question his love for me. I don't fear going to hell because I am His. Knowing this, I can literally do all things because He fortifies me and will never leave me nor Forsake me. That's a win!

What one unique thing sets you apart from other writers in your genre?

I guess this book is part Christian and part biographical in a sense because it chronicles my journey with God. My uniqueness is in that I am a gay dude who is not professing that being gay is not a sin, for the Bible says that it is, so it is. But my twist is that God has revealed it to me. Evidence in the Bible that says why I am this way, and it was not my choice. If God healed some from being great, fine, and good for them, but not all are healed, He heals some from cancer, yet others die from it. I am me in Christ and that is what God wants me to be, so my me-ness in Christ is what my world eagerly awaits to be revealed. Me, in Christ, is all I need.

You will unleash the power of Sonship instead of walking as a mere man or woman of God. And there is a HUGE difference. God said, “This is my Beloved Son in whom I am well please,” not beloved child, nor man. The world doesn’t eagerly wait for the Children of God to be revealed; they have been revealed in the Old Testament, not the men of God, who are also revealed.

 

In this book you will find your own unique, as God made you, way of becoming a Son of God, which He reveals to you through your hopes, dreams, and aspirations. You will come to understand that your thorn in your flesh, will not hinder your salvation, even though it is a messenger from Satan. You can still become a Son of God because the Blood of Jesus Christ is greater than your wrongs. 

This book has Biblical, Scientific and Anecdotal Evidence as to why I did not chose to be Gay. I was given unto to this mind(brain) and God allowed it. It explains the origins of Homosexuality. It doesn’t express that being Gay is not a sin, because it is. So is worry, anxiety and a multitude of sins churchgoers commit daily, which is why we all Need Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

 

You will learn to fully believe, understand and embrace that you are a Son of God, at-be, who live in a male/female body and love and trust him like a Child.
