Let me say, I am a person who has struggled with anxiety for most of my life. I have also been told I have ocd tendencies. And as someone who has spent many a day thinking about how crazy I must be and how crazy the world must think me, this really hit home.

But above that, the writing style was thoroughly engaging. It’s like you sat down and Nia just told you about her day. It’s very easy and enjoyable to read.

This book is a page-turner. Nia is guarded and keeps two interested men in her life guessing, which I found a bit shocking. But I couldn't put the book down until I found out which man she picked and if it all worked out. Nia is definitely not your standard female protagonist. The way she describes her challenges with obsessive-compulsive disorder made me realize that she felt unable to approach life head on because she could not accept herself as a person with a disability. I won't spoil it for readers by revealing whether she does or not by the end, but suffice it to say this novel was both well-written and engrossing.
