She has always loved writing, but with four
boys and helping her husband to run his business, there was never a lot of time
to write.
At the age of 65, Lexa decided to retire and
to do something she enjoyed. She went
back to The Whispering Wind and realised why it had not been published. She
rewrote it and sent it out once more. Lexa did have an offer, but they wanted a
different ending. This was something she
was not prepared to back down on. So, having done everything themselves during their
life, her husband encouraged her to publish it herself.
All writers dream of being published, and Lexa is no exception, even if it does come late in her life.
Lexa currently lives in Suffolk with her long-suffering husband, three Ridgebacks, and five geese, and has the blessing of a wonderful family and the enjoyment of four sons, eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
