Splendid Warrior Anthology is a non-fiction curated literary snapshot or time capsule of at least four decades of my evolutionary and transformational growth in time and space. My poems, prose, sonnets and rhymes are inspired by God, nature, family and experience. It celebrates the joy of the selfless, the sublime and self evident. It seeks to illuminate the discovery of timeless truth, it rejoices in the simplicity of innocence and marvels with genuine awe in the creativity, diversity, symmetry, simplicity, complexity, and the beauty of creation. It is mystified, reassured, comforted, and inspired by the endless need, the seemingly insatiable thirst and the perennially brave quest of all sentient beings to find, define and actualize themselves in creation. That is to say the need to chart new horizons, to challenge, achieve, discover, renew, comfort, and enlighten the self. It questions and rejects, tribalism, sexism, racism, greed, war, hate, classism, and all the debilitating effects of blind ignorance. In the end it simply asks, are we not all individually and collectively children of the power cosmic, forged in the heart of stars by an invisible hand, custodiansto the vast universe with all its wondrous and uncharted potential.
