When I got pregnant of my daughter on Valentines day 2021 in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro, I felt it, that yes even birth and motherhood is in my hands, in my power to choose how I want to live it, experience it. I studied all about it, and allowed myself to have the faith needed to bring my wildest desire to fruition!
What inspired you to author this book?
I heard so many stories about birth "ending in emergency" and I begun to question the reality of this story that we are being fed. Is this really the truth or are we allowing a collective assumption to rule the reality of our birthing and motherhood experiences? I thought that if we are being told that we can manifest anything we want, and apply it to our finances, love life, and social status, why not to birth and motherhood. I studied the law of assumption thoroughly and realised that by applying the techniques given to us, our subconscious mind is able to accept a new reality, no matter the theme we decide to focus on. Birth is neutral in the quantum field, it is the meaning and projections and stories we give it, that create the situations women go through at this very moment. I felt it deep in my heart, that this a way, but not THE WAY. The way begun to show itself for me in a way that allows all women to truly become the QUEENS of their experiences. I was inspired by a vision, of seeing all birthing people of this world, honored, respected and celebrated for bringing new life forward

Where did you get the inspiration for your book’s cover?
I found Jenna Wiebe on Instagram and loved her work, as it honours the feminine parts of our body, and then I saw her print "Goddess of life" and immediately knew that this was the cover!
Who has been the most significant influence on you personally and as a writer?
So many different people had a significant influence on me personally and as a writer in different moments of my life. I feel like the more I expanded the people I would be inspired by would change. In the realms of Birth I was deeply moved by Michel Odent, Ina May Gaskin, Whapio and my midwife Karine Laseva. All of them putting the mother back into the centre of birth.

What were your struggles or obstacles you had to overcome to get this book written?
I had to trust the timing, I wanted to write it right after birth but I wasn't ready yet, so really allowing the journey to unfold was my biggest lesson with this book.

Who is your target audience, and why?
My target audience is pregnant women or women in the phase of conception.
What do you consider your greatest success in life?
My birth! I decided that I wanted it that way, and it happened even more magically than I planned. I did the deep inner work and faced all fears and shadows and then gave all my faith into the hands of the divine, and allowed my baby to be born wildly, freely and unmedicated.

What one unique thing sets you apart from other writers in your genre?
I merge the laws of the universe and manifestation techniques with the theme of childbirth. I harness the power of the law of assumption and apply it to the wisdom of our bodies, and abilities to birth the way we desire.
