You know when it is getting close to school coming to a close
as children have amped-up their energy. I know that my grandchildren can’t wait
to spend their summer camping and swimming. Just yesterday, my four-year-old
granddaughter told me she had swim practice. My, how they grow up. As summer
approaches, please encourage your children to read. Buy them books or take them
to a library. I just edited a perfect book for your children called Becoming
Miss Izzy that will launch on June 17, 2019. This book would be the perfect book
companion this summer for your child. Watch Book trailer.
Speaking of reading, I came across a book called Halfway
to a Southern Heart by Anthony Mays. The reviews on it have been
outstanding, and therefore, I am recommending it to my readers. Watch the book trailer below.

Rebecca grew up in a well-to-do family in Memphis. For years,
her father wanted her to marry the son of a family friend, but Rebecca did not
love him. No sooner had she turned eighteen, she became pregnant by Vernon; a
man she barely knew. Before she could share the good news with him, he suddenly
left Memphis, never to return. Devastated, she had no choice but to give up the
baby. Her parents sent her away to hide her growing shame and arranged for an
adoption. However, Rebecca couldn’t go through with the adoption and made her
own plans. With her secret secured, she returned home and dutifully married. In
time, she gave birth to another child. Life was good until fate stepped in
threatening to expose her secret. A series of events ensued that not only
threatened to destroy her family, but also the lives of a family living in the
fertile cotton belt of Arkansas.
