Why Convert Your Novel Into an Audiobook

June 12, 2019

In a blink of an eye, we are almost half-way through June. What! Where have the days gone. Obviously, the older I get, the faster time seems to fly. I have a lot going on around in my life between writing my next novel, editing NEURO CONFINEMENT for Sophie Marie Wright, and helping to of my authors launch their books next week. More on them in a bit.

Right now, I want to talk about audiobook narration. Believe it or not, this is the perfect time to convert your novels into an audiobook because the market for them is booming. The Wall Street Journal says audiobooks are becoming the faster growing market for books since Createspace which offered authors a way to self-publish. I have spent almost a year to find my audibook narrators for my nonfiction and fiction novels and I am excited that I will be featuring them here one at a time. Here are the audiobook narrators that I fully endorse and if you need to hire one, I'd start with these.

Scott Ellis - He is narrating my book THE KEYSTROKE KILLER: TRANSCENDENCE. Listen to excerpt here: THE KEYSTROKE KILLER: TRANSCENDENCE

Timothy Burke _ He is narrating my book HOW TO LAUNCH AND MARKET A BOOK

Jessie Drumm - She is narrating my novel NEVER STOP RUNNING AUDIOBOOK EXCERPT

Rebecca Roberts - She is narrating my novel A.D.A.M. THE BEGINNING OF LIFE

Kris Szczesny - She is narrating my novel SECRET ROMANCES: A FORBIDDEN THIRST FOR LOVE. Listen to the audio excerpt here:

Over the next couple of blogs, I will be featuring each of these narrators and their work so be sure to subscribe to my channel for all updates on my books and those authors who I follow.

5 DAYS AND COUNTING

Like I said, lots of things are happening around me. In five days, BECOMING MISS IZZY launches. This book is amazing and has met with raving five-star reviews. I don't know how to explain this, but this book is a must-read for your middle schooler this summer. Authors Sue Zook and Mary Lazsarski nailed this book in a fun and creative way and should be read with your child to open up the lines of communications. This isn't an "I told you so," book; rather, it is fun, a little crazy, and perfectly addresses coming of age issues middle schoolers face. Pre-order your copy today.

“Becoming Miss Izzy” is a wonderful tale of a young lady as she deals with the minefield of being an adolescent. This book is written in the first person so you see and feel everything that Izzy that happens . The challenges she faces are real and solutions are given in a loving and practical manner. It also is a great tool to help open up a dialogue between parent and child so they can easily discuss issues.

This book should make a young person think as they deal with the problems of middle school. It breaks down the way to develop solutions to problems, and one is totally sympathetic with all the characters. You want Izzy’s mom and family to be yours. You want the bullies to go away. You want to be Izzy’s friend.

As a former middle school teacher, I know this would have been a wonderful book to share with my students. This book belongs in every library for adolescents to read." Joanne E Meyerhoff
