First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage: A Guide to Improving Communication with Your Spouse

Dear Readers:

Did you know that the average length of a marriage is eight years? Do you know the top reasons why couples get divorced? Do saying vows during a wedding ceremony mean nothing? Let me tell you this... I have been married for thirty-eight years, have three children, and eight grandchildren. To me, this is the most significant thing that I have done in my life. Why? Staying married, and providing a fundamental loving home to my children were my priority. Did it come easy? NO! In fact, no marriage comes easy to maintain and it is something that both partners must work toward to reach significant milestones and anniversaries. If you don't have effective and honest communication with your spouse, your marriage is doomed to fail. Communication is key. That is why I love today's BOOK OF THE DAY, "First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage: A Guide to Improving Communication with Your Spouse" by Lee Addison. This book is fabulous and based off of biblical principles. I highly reccommend this book for engaged couples, newlyweds, and couples who have been married for years. Oh, as authors, we work hard on all of our books, and we always appreciate honest reviews, so if you get a chance, please leave your review for Lee. Happy marriage and happy communication.
