What inspired you to author this book?
At an early age, I began experiencing unexplained situations that caused me a lot of anxiety. I passed these moments off as growing pains. In 2007, I photographed my first apparition (ghost) images in a screened window (not a glass plate window). Their images were clear. This is what sparked my interest in investigating the paranormal. 100+ experiences later and 3-4 extraterrestrial visitations, I had so many experiences that I needed to get them down on paper. My stories to date have turned into ten illustrated books.
Where did you get the inspiration for your book’s cover?
Book 10 artwork cover was inspired when I was choked in bed by an unseen force (three times). This book is a typical flavor of the many stories you hear when someone isn't careful enough in their investigating or ridding unwanted spirits.

has been the most significant influence on you personally and as a writer?
I do not have one significant influence. I admire people who have the gift of artistry but struggled to perfect their craft. To me, this reflects the strength of character while overcoming the usual obstacles (wanting to be seen or heard). I recently spoke to Terry Fator, famed ventriloquist, who inspired me to stand up in front of a paying group of people (this UFO conference requires paid tickets to see me) and to just do my best. I am inspired by many who take their interest seriously.
What were your struggles or obstacles you had to overcome to get this book written?
My books are self-published, non-fiction. I did not have too many obstacles to overcome. I simply sat down and began writing. Some of my most frightening experiences, though, were difficult to process again because they were difficult to live through the first time. Reliving terrifying memories is always the most challenging.

Tell your readers about your book.
Paranormal Encounters: Message Received is a non-fiction book containing several true accounts about the experiences I had with the paranormal and extraterrestrial. My book, like all the others, begins by sharing the story, notes definitions to help understand or do an analysis of the situation, debunks and questions the experience, and then, wraps up with final thoughts. By the end, my goal is to educate the reader about the phenomena or possible alternatives of what may have occurred in that situation.
Who is your target audience, and why?
Target audience for this book is anyone who is a believer in the paranormal and wants to learn more about types of experiences to make sense out of their own.

What do you consider your greatest success in life?
Marrying my husband. Outside of that, achieving many advanced degrees, being able to immerse myself into my passions, travel, and being who I was meant to be, me.
What one unique thing sets you apart from other writers in your genre?
I cannot answer this

appreciate what we learn from each other. I am a contributor and experiencer in
