ABOUT THE AUTHOR

The author learned to read better (and faster) and better at 14 years old. A few decades ago, when he was 14, he had a one-hour free reading session at the school's library. An hour he would have spent elsewhere. He found that ¨hour¨ very annoying and unpleasant. But one day, he saw one of the librarians reading a paperback at a surprising rate. The librarian gave the author a book when asked how he did it. The title was ¨Learn to read better and faster.¨ That was the first time the author was in a hurry to read a book. He started reading it immediately. At the end of the hour, he was already reading much faster.
Today, decades later, he wrote the book Velocity Reading so that others can do the same and have more fun reading.
