Today is the last day that I will be babysitting my four-year-old granddaughter during the week because, on Friday, she starts pre-school. Wow! The last four years since her birth have flown. My mother, says that my granddaughter is my Velcro baby because we are stuck at the hip together. She is my best friend.

So, today, we watched Blippie, Paw Patrol, and read books. She loves to read. She also loves to paint and color so she will fit right in preschool. For those of you who may not know, but I also have illustrated and published six adult coloring books.

Often, my grandchildren will ask me to draw them a picture so they can color it. I've drawn spaceships, turtles, birds, and more. Sometimes, even I need a break. That's why I purchased the cutest book ever -- Mystical Forest by Nathaniel Wake. It is simply adorable filled with 25 pictures in a world of fantasy ready for my granddaughter to color.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Nathaniel Wake
  1. Tell your readers a little about yourself, where you grew up, where you live now, where you went to school etc. Let them get to know the personal you.
You can rework this however you see fit. Not a writer. And as you know. Writing about yourself is the hardest.

And I am not a personal guy. So that is strike one.

Nathaniel Wake knows the finer things in life are the ones that bring us joy. Here at Nathaniel Wake Publishing, we love to help others relax, express their inner creativity, and provide an outlet for others to connect with the world around them through tangible means of expression. Art therapy lives at the heart of what we do here and through our publishing of adult coloring books and digital libraries, we not only strive to serve artists in our community but provide aid for those in need. That’s why here at Nathaniel Wake Publishing a portion of all of our proceeds from these publications go to individual charities that support those with disabilities. We believe that through art, mindfulness, and expression, we can make the world a better place. One day we hope to open our own therapeutic riding center so that we may continue the good work of people helping people find peace, meaning, and happiness.

  6. What one unique thing sets you apart from other writers in your genre?
I like to call myself a Rut Buster.. not the same stuff over and over. Different genres.. different levels of challenge. But always like to bring something different and unique to the table. May not sell the greatest but nice to hear everyone say "these are unique" "These are cool"
