Dr. Mel on the set of Entitlement |
Last night was exceptionally fun as I networked with people I've know for fifteen years in the film industry and met others for the first time. It was an amazing experience having participated in the New Orleans 48 Hour Film Festival and see our finished film on the big screen. The screening was held in the Victory Theater at the World War II museum and if my memory serves me correct, the last film to hold their premiere here was Mel Gibson. So the fifty-four short films were in good company.
To be honest, some of the films were exceptionally made. The cinemetogpraphy, lighting, sound, and acting were on point and vey enjoyable to watch. There are many talented people in this area and the way I look at it, we are all winners to have participated in this amazing project. I look forward to next year and I plan on being in that number. Here are a couple of behind the scenes photographs from the planning, filming, and editing process. I could not be more proud than our to serve as your Producer.

The judging has begun, may the best film win.
This brings me to Adriana & Company. Working on a film set to make things happen, it is imperative that we have strong leaders, and we did with each of our department heads. With David Kirtland at the helm, and me as producer, our team worked cohevisely and got the job done. The skills learned by those who took positions for the first time on a film set will carry them to another. If you have the slightest bit of interest in working on a film, please consider joining a 48 Hour Film Project next year.
