Raquel who got infected with HIV by a man who married her just to show her off as a trophy and later abandoned her and her daughters because he wanted sons. Teresa travelled 1,287 miles and 454 hours just to meet a mother who was not interested in her after abandoning her and her twin sister at attender age. She later turned to be her abuser which forced her to run away and was later placed in a foster home. Juan’s love for his parents forced him to start working at the age of 13 without his parents’ knowledge, a job that would later lead him to meet a man who sexually abused him. Unable to live with the shame and guilt, he decided to take his own life thereby plunging his mother to the most severe pain of a mother. The rest of the characters and VICTIMS in this book: Rosa, Ernesto, Martha, Anna, Maria and Rebeca went through their own abuses and came out strong at the end of it.

This is an inspirational collection of testimonies of victims who found love and hope in Gods warmth and loving-kindness. It is a live evidence that all is not lost after abuse and that a victim could still turn around and become a victor. It is a must read for everyone.
