    For Mylitta Butler, life at 304 pounds wasn’t easy. She was depressed and often felt trapped in her own body. Was pre-diabetic, suffered from high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Equally frustrating was the numerous diets and weight loss programs that just didn’t work for long. She soon figured out how subjecting her body to extreme measures to lose weight was proving unhealthy. There had to be another way.


    With health troubles looming, she finally had to face the realities of her unhealthy relationship with food. She began exploring out of the box solutions with more flexibility and got off the diet rollercoaster. With a lot of work, she managed to go from 304 pounds to 143 in less than fifteen months and in the process finally discovered the key to losing weight long-term.

    Through self-acceptance and learning to love her curves, Mylitta also realized, she did not need to be a size 2, to be happy and healthy. The result was a complete transformational journey, physically and mentally, which she now shares in her book Slim Down Level Up.

    As a mother, wife and author, she’s proud of her accomplishments and now seeks to help others on their weight loss journeys.
