ABOUT THE AUTHOR
My name is Despina Mavridou, i am a mediator for family dispute issues and a lawyer but my real passion is the writing. I have written two books for kids in English and Greek language and one for adults. I am usually inspired by the world around me and the children. The book "Mum, dad can you hear me" is based on my personal story as a kid. I have tried to include in the story all the things that i needed from my parents, my thoughts and feelings during the divorce so as to help parents understand a child's perspective. "Semeli to the magic bagel land" is inspired by my beautiful niece and the amazing way she, as a child, perceives the world which is so different from the way adults do.
