DR. MEL'S MESSAGE - From my novels to my other projects, no telling what you will read. This is the only place you will get to read about how I developed a screenplay into a novel and what is the driving force. I will talk about many things from films to books to acting to producing. It really will depend on where my mind takes me. I hope you will join me on this journey.
After an attempt on her life, Lainey Stewart is housebound. A determined serial killer, who leaves behind bizarre signatures, is on a sacred mission. Lainey and her husband Brian’s fitness software business is directly linked to where the bodies of young women are buried. Mismatched detectives, Hurst and Strahan, who despite their differences, are closing in on the killer. As the killer’s tempo increases Lainey and Brian’s actions become increasingly desperate, they jeopardize their marriage, their business, and their lives.
Lainey and Brian Stewart appear to have it all, but their success in business hides a depth of issues. The uncompromising Lainey, now housebound, is determined to bounce back from the attempt on her life.
The bodies of young women are found buried in woodland trails linked to Lainey and Brian’s fitness software. Brian’s foolish attempt to be the hero places him as the prime suspect in a multiple murder investigation.
Lainey invites a new recruit, Veva, to work alongside her from the home office. They quickly become close, sharing more than secrets. During a foreign business trip, Veva shares even more with the luckless Brian.
Robust female detective Hurst joins forces with the Zenlike detective Strahan, struggling through their differences to catch the killer. As the body count increases the stakes become higher with an ever-shifting focus and unclear motive. The killer knows better than anyone that in order to reap you must first sow.
Once again Lainey finds herself the focus of the killer’s sacred mission. Those who should have everything soon find they have only each other.
Vincent Redgrave’s formative years consisted of staring from the classroom window in the north of England and contemplating what the world was up to. Seventeen novels later, he continues transforming ideas from an over-active imagination into varying genres of human misbehavior.
Vincent’s keen interest in morality, mortality, and psychology provides the platform for a variety of engaging characters, gripping plots, and unexpected outcomes.
Suspenseful dramas and thrillers of the highest caliber will not disappoint.
Vincent lives in northern Arizona where it is surprisingly cold in winter.
