ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Ray Lindstrom is a recovering alcoholic and former rock and roll disc jockey. He has taken a long, winding journey as an entrepreneur, starting in high school when he founded Zoom Records, Southern Arizona’s first record label. In the 1970’s, he was the owner of a Phoenix ad agency; in the 1980’s, he started the massive infomercial industry, and in the 1990s created the world’s largest watch store. Finally, after “retiring,” he built what he termed “the world’s most important website” that he planned to sell for a billion dollars. A serial entrepreneur, Lindstrom has started over 100 businesses. “I love to come up with ideas for new projects and then start ’em; that’s the fun part. I don’t much like to manage ’em. You can always find good people to do that while you go on to your next project”.
In 2014, he was inducted into the Arizona Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. He has made appearances on The NBC Today Show, The CBS Evening News, CBS Sunday Morning and has been featured in Forbes Magazine, which called him “an indefatigable promoter.”
His most recent project is a new book, FEARLESS! Confessions of a Serial Entrepreneur. This book was written by Ray himself for anybody who decides they just don’t want to go to work for anybody ever again.
