The Coca-Cola Trail: People and Places in the History of Coca-Cola

The other day I took all of my grandchildren out to eat for sushi; yes, sushi. They love it. When it came time to order our drinks, my only granddaughter said, "I want a Cokesie."

I was a little puzzled and so I asked her, "You mean a Coke?"

"No, they don't have Coke here, they only have Cokesies."

That's when her older brother came to my rescue. "She means Pepsi."

Now I understand. However, it should me the marketing the Coca-Cola uses for their brand name to be embedded in a four-year-old's mind. Coca-Cola has been around for a very long time. Which brings me to my next book I am going to introduce you to called "The Coca-Cola Trail: People and Places in the History of Coca-Cola by Larry Jorgensen.
