Normally, I shy away from a story line like this.

But I got hooked at the beginning, because the build up of expectation was well done. The main character is very likeable and easy to relate to. It feels like a modern fairy tale and leaves you uplifted at the end. This is a very nice and entertaining short story and I surely will read more from this author.
