Singapore – April 13, 2020 –

BHUMAN, founded by Yeeli Lee, is set to launch its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter on April 22, 2020, to introduce skincare designed

to face climate change to the masses. The first product is BCLEAN, a plant-based pH-balanced facial cleanser. It is packaged in handcrafted bamboo, the world’s fastest-growing plant, and hence a highly renewable resource. Bamboo is a gorgeous material, with the soothing touch of wood and is also naturally antibacterial. Wallet-friendly refills are available in recyclable aluminum bottles.
The beauty industry produces 120 billion pieces of plastics a year, and most of them are in single-use plastics. BHUMAN aims to disrupt and transform the industry by applying circular economy principles to design out waste from day one.
“On top of the mindless use of single-use plastics, if you look at the primary ingredient in most skincare products, chances are it is water — an ingredient that we already have. Imagine the transport footprint. Transportation is the largest contributor to greenhouse emissions. Our products are waterless, this will help shrink our environmental footprint and reduce our impact on climate change,” commented BHUMAN founder, Yeeli Lee.
As an American who spent the last twenty years working across emerging countries around the world, she is familiar with the social and economic realities faced by them. Clean beauty brands are often priced out of reach for the masses in these fast-growing markets, and BHUMAN aims to change that. Ingredients in BHUMAN are as natural as possible and the products are priced at affordable price points.

“Why start with a facial cleanser? It is a skincare product that almost everyone uses,” shared Lee. “BHUMAN is created to speak to the values of being human. It says that you want to leave the world better than when you found it. You want to be the change you want to see.”
BHUMAN is the world’s first skincare designed to face climate change. Buy a three-month supply of BCLEAN powder facial cleanser at $49 (USD) on the Kickstarter campaign, which ends May 22, 2020.
What are others saying about the product?
“Love the powder format – silky texture, light, and clean fragrance.”
“Perfect for travel – no need to fuss around with decant. No more leaks.”
“Every now and again, someone comes along with an idea that just makes sense, and this is one of them: design out waste and pollution while making an awesome product that returns to the earth without destroying it.”
