Today's book of the day is such a thrill ride I had to comment on it. I recently was ill and couldn't get out of bed, but needed something to do besides watch television. Of course, being the reader I am, a book is my go-to. That's when I discovered "In the Death of Night," by Matthew Reed. What a riveting thrill ride. I highly recommend this book.

As an Army veteran, it was really compelling to read a story that tied into my own experiences and observations. It almost feels like the author pulled me into the book.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Matthew Reed Served on Active-Duty in both the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army for a total of seven and a half years. He deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan before being Honorably Discharged. He has worked on both the Operational and Support sides of various U.S. Military operations. He has also worked for over eight years as an overseas Government Contractor for the U.S. Department of Defense in three different countries.
