ABOUT ALEX GENADINIK
Alex is a singer-songwriter based in NYC, but his music has a strong emphasis on writing poetic and pretty lyrics. He writes many songs with metaphors and unique imagery.
Alex was born in Ukraine and speaks Russian. In addition to writing his original poetry and music, he translates Russian songs to English. Here is his most popular Russian cover song translated to English:

Alex wanted the book to feel imaginative and dreamy. The idea for every poem in the book is to enchant the reader and take them to a new world. That’s what the book cover tries to convey.

WRITING INFLUENCES

STRUGGLES AND OBSTACLES FOR THE BOOK
A part of the challenge is that since the book has to contain links, it’s difficult to present it as a paperback book. So it has so far only been released on the Kindle. Another challenge is that Alex doesn’t just write poetry, but sings the songs and works on giving them a full instrumental arrangement, which means that he doesn’t get to write as much as he would prefer. So there are not too many poems in the book.
But the great thing is that the poems that are in the book, all have a full musical version to them, which is rare for a poetry book.
WHO MIGHT ENJOY THE BOOK
If you want to stay away from politics or social issues, and just want to let your mind and imagination drift off, this is the style of poetry and music that might be nice for you. And even though the songs are imaginative and different, there are many relatable songs that have a slice of life in them.
When listeners and readers can personally relate and identify with poetry or music, it makes the poetry or music more inspiring.
