Vi, okay, I will start. I was born and raised
in Saint Louis, Missouri. I am the eldest sibling out of six, so I have always
wanted to set an example for the younger generation. I had a rough start, but
by the grace of God, I went to school and became a Nurse at 24 and had a
revelation; I have always been interested in improving my health and finances
because I was never taught in depth about either. I worked in the medical field
for several years while also advising people on how to repair their credit.
Fast Forward to today, I have helped thousands of families repair their credit,
start businesses, and establish business credit. This is something I'm quite
proud of.
Alix-I was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti, and go by the name A. L. Denis. I
spent a portion of my upbringing there. As a child, I had the honor of seeing
firsthand the beauty of a community and what it meant to be content. Despite
not having much, we had a good childhood. With my father, Jesufaite, and my two
brothers, Hanso and Jean, I immigrated to the United States when I was nine
years old. Learning a new language and becoming familiar with a new culture
were challenging at first. Without a doubt, I picked up the language and
gradually came to terms with the culture—not as my own, but as a new reality. I
attended Patricia Stevens College and received an associate's degree in
business management after attending elementary, middle, and high school in
Saint Louis, Missouri. After receiving my associate's degree, I enrolled at
Webster University to pursue a degree in business management, marketing, and
psychology, but because of unanticipated events, I was unable to complete my
degree as planned.
What inspired you to author
this book?

A.L. - Writing has always been my passion ever since I was a young child. As a
coping strategy, I express my revolutionary ideas through writing. I have
always been enthralled with words. My best friend and the creator of my own
world used to be a dictionary.
My fascination with the mind has always been sparked by the perception of it as
a mysterious and gloomy place. A search for answers about something unknown.
The last unexplored continent in the world. The Mind.

Where did you get the
inspiration for your book’s cover?
The daily struggles of entrepreneurs
influenced the concept for the book's cover. A combat declaration. Commerce is
a conflict. War against the intellect, body, and spirit.
Who has been the most
significant influence on you personally and as a writer?
Lawrence Sanders is one of my most admired
authors. Have you perused any of his literature? You simply must. The eloquent
and profound manner in which he conveys his ideas is breathtaking. Our goal is
to aspire to compose similarly.
What were your struggles
or obstacles you had to overcome to get this book written?
Vi- I think one major obstacle was just
actually sitting down and getting it done!
The most difficult aspect of composing this
book was gathering the required information for the intended audience of
entrepreneurs.
