Linda has inspired collaborations between artists and promoted music for an enormous number of industry icons, legends, and recording companies. She was awarded several gold sales and lifetime achievement awards. She is recognized as a pioneer who has contributed significantly to Black Music as a Record Promoter.
Linda's
experiences behind the music industry scene inspired her to write her first
memoir, which was featured in the NY Times Book Review Magazine, 'The Great
Record Promoter Behind the Scene in the Record Industry’, published in
2015. She has lectured at Jamaica Queens College, NY University as the guest
speaker for the Black History Month series. Linda was also in the Showtime
documentary for R & B singer ‘Teddy Pendergrass, If You Don’t Know Me.’ She
received her master's degree (MBA) in marketing from Southeastern University in
Washington, DC, and an associate degree (AA) from American University. Linda
enjoys mentoring and sharing her knowledge with anyone interested in listening.
