Kip Meyerhoff nails it again. Good action, good humor, and a good storyline to boot. Kip obviously knows police procedure from personal experience and his cop humor is a plus. Rollo's "Uncle Vinnie" maybe a gangster but he has his good side when he takes care of problems the police are unable to deal with. I will be waiting for the next book with Rollo Michaels.

The characters and the storyline are written so extremely well you feel as if you are a part of the story. When the mobsters were first introduced I was not a fan however, as the story progressed I began to like them more and more. In my opinion, the FBI characters were exactly like you would think they would be kind of shady.
I am looking forward to another book to be published by this author. Kip Meyerhoff is a storyteller you will not be disappointed in.

Kip Meyerhoff has been a columnist for the River Times for the past decade. He lives in a Victorian home on the banks of the Ohio River with his significant other, the real Linda, whose main job is to keep him out of trouble. His first book, Cooking with Kip: A Cook's Memoir, tells how his lifelong fascination with cooking and eating shaped his life.
His 20 years as a member of the LAPD and ten years as a licensed private investigator provide the fodder for his Rollo Michaels protagonist.
