"Driven by Lust" by Anni Pea

About now, I think a majority of the world's population is going bonkers having to stay at home. I would rather us all stay at home and get the pandemic over and out of our lives. For me, I have found plenty of things to do -- I read, write, edit, color, paint, compose music, clean house, sit around my pool and soak in vitamin D, and I'm binge watching from the very first episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Every once in a while, I go back to my comfort zone and watch The Love Boat. Who remembers that show? Anyway, both of those shows are my guilty pleasures.

Speaking of guilty pleasures, how many of you need a true distraction from this pandemic? If you do, I have a lustful and erotic novel for you. Ummmm! Did Dr. Mel say lust and erotic? Yes, I did and I think your going to love this next book, "Driven by Lust," by Anni Pea. I'm not going to say this any other way -- this book is HOT!  Take a look at the trailer.

ABOUT THE BOOK

Driven by lust Paperback – December 2, 2019

ANNI PEA

Tell your readers a little about yourself, where you grew up, where you live now, where you went to school etc. Let them get to know the personal you.

I grew up in a small village in Estonia. My grandparents were from Muhu Island, one of the most beautiful isolated islands on Estonian west coast. I grew up in a family with three daughters. To this day, we are really close and stuck together, no matter What. I was raised to be independent and manage with little. It has taught me to be witty, resourceful, and squeeze out every little drop of positivity from my life. I studied to be a professional chef in Tallinn and worked a part-time job as a hotel manager and chef in a local summer resort for three years. After graduating, I decided to change my life rhythm and started working as a 3D metal-operation engineer in a local metal production company. Since then, I have moved up the ladder, and currently, I am a department supervisor and installation/service manager and engineer. I started writing a couple of years ago and took a goal to write a short novel with an Estonian girl as the lead character. Since then, I have published some short novels, a collection of poetry, and an erotic novel that really got some good attention. It was first published on Wattpad and was named "Driven by lust."

What inspired you to author this book?

I took it as a challenge. I had never written erotic like that, and I wanted to see if I can create something unique. I had that story of a musician in a generally small city who meets a girl who he has more than a sexual attraction. I wanted to add more soul to the story, and while developing characters, I truly understood the importance of that couple and just ran with it. Five more scenarios came to me, and that's how it all came together as a full book. I really enjoy sex, and I wanted to offer a story that got everyone as excited as me.

Where did you get the inspiration for your book's cover?

I wanted something dark and sexy. Note: the Kindle and paperback cover are different. No special reason there. I think the covers portray the stories very well. Glad they turned out the way they did.

Who has been the most significant influence on you personally and as a writer?

I love Kylie Scott's books. The Stagedive series just inspired me so much, and whenever I feel writer's block, I go back to her books. She's amazing in her writing, witty and smart.

What were your struggles or obstacles you had to overcome to get this book written?

I needed to overcome the small shame that comes with talking about erotica. I was a little concerned about what the closest people to me would think, but they are supportive, and I am glad to have such a great family and friends surrounding me.

Tell your readers about your book.

Driven by Lust tells the stories of six couples having sexual adventures. Every couple (every section) is split into four chapters. From meeting each other to indulging in hot sex and then the aftermath, you can feel the passion and lust in their stories.

Who is your target audience, and why?

My target audience is women and men between ages 21 to 89. I think there is no max age when you shouldn't read it. Everyone who is looking for some lovely ideas on how to make your sex life a little more exciting should read this. I am very descriptive in my writing, so this is pretty much a step-by-step guide on how to have a more exciting sex experience.

What do you consider your greatest success in life?

My daughter. Everything else is secondary. I am a fully focused mom and do everything, so I can offer her the best life.

What one unique thing sets you apart from other writers in your genre?

I think the fact that I have created original music and original songs for this book makes it different than any other author with their book. I have my dear friend Andrej Lazarevic to thank for this, to make all of this possible. He is an incredible music producer, singer, and a partner. Also, there is a long list of other musicians and producers who helped me create all of this music: one of them Beau Vallis (the Grammy-nominated producer who worked with Beyonce, Sean Paul etc. and then me whoohoo). Also, Jose Palomares who is always working on new material for me.
