DR. MEL'S MESSAGE - From my novels to my other projects, no telling what you will read. This is the only place you will get to read about how I developed a screenplay into a novel and what is the driving force. I will talk about many things from films to books to acting to producing. It really will depend on where my mind takes me. I hope you will join me on this journey.
★ “Today, we live in a cash-for-trash world. Anyone can stand up and say anything unkind, unfair or completely untrue about you, and then they are rewarded for it… because life is unfair!” — Kathie Lee Gifford
Why bother participating in it then? Why dare to dream? What is “success” anyway? We witness many people who want to reach the summit at all costs. They want to beat others and be the most successful among their caste. Still, we witness many more people who do not want to fight the fight; those who are just fine with being used and abused by powerful individuals. Then, what’s your move? Attack or Surrender? Could there be an alternative?
While there is no such thing as a Hardship “Endurant Specialist,” you now have a viable alternative. Nada Alachkar earned her M.D. at Aleppo University in Syria and later immigrated to the USA. She currently works at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Alachkar is an author, physician, Mother, and a survivor.
Using her own experiences and her deep understanding of the struggles of immigrants, prejudices against women, and injustices toward minorities, she’s delivered a sensational social critique that is sure to inspire you and put things into perspective in Your Own Life.
By following along her inspiring journey, you’ll discover:
How to garner the bravery to find your voice and stand for your values
How to heal, forgive, and move on from traumatic experiences
How to develop better coping skills and become more resilient in the face of life hardships
How to end a marriage with grace to preserve your dignity, integrity, and respect
And much, much more
The author eloquently and courageously tells an inspiring story about the struggles, failures, and successes of a Middle-Eastern girl who had to overcome too many obstacles to find her identity. It is one of too many stories of women who suffer in this life because the world tells them “You are less than human beings” every single day. The author eloquently and courageously tells her perspective of the Eastern then the Western values. If you like raw authors who bluntly point out bullshit whenever it needs to be pointed out, then you cannot afford to miss Nada’s A Girl From the Middle East
