What
inspired you to author this book?
I felt that someone
could benefit from my life’s journey of struggles. I really felt as if God was
calling me to share it.
Where
did you get the inspiration for your book’s cover?
That was a collect
effort between my husband and youngest daughter and the publishing design team.
They thought that it was great to have a little mystery in unfolding this
story.
Who
has been the most significant influence on you personally and as a writer?
My husband and my
children. My husband always would say that the world needs to know your story.
What
were your struggles or obstacles you had to overcome to get this book written?
My struggle was
getting it out of my head and onto the pages. Struggling also to tell the
darkest moments of my life but felt it was necessary to finally let it be known
so that someone else could be helped by my struggles.
Tell
your readers about your book.
It s about my life
journey and struggles of sickness, emotional trauma, marital ups and downs and
finally surrendering to Gods plan for my life
Who
is your target audience, and why?
All of those who feel
that their life is upside down, through sickness, hurt, pain, betrayal,
financial burdens and the fear of death. Those who are asking God why. Those
are the ones this book will help.
If you were going to give one reason for anyone looking at your book to read,
why should they buy it? It touches all areas of life, physical, mental,
spiritual and social aspects of life will be touched.
What
do you consider your greatest success in life?
Knowing God and
Finally knowing that God left me here for a reason. I believe it’s to help
someone else make it. And right now this book is the outflow of that.
What
one unique thing sets you apart from other writers in your genre?
How do you overcome
writer’s block? By having ongoing conversations with those who understand and
know me. Basically my family.
What one piece of advice do you have for new authors? Don’t procrastinate.
Write your story or idea. And then get with passionate people who will support
you. Don't listen to negative voices or people. There are people waiting for
what you have to share.
Tell your readers anything else you want to share. My life has not been
perfect. But I want all to know that God will reorganize the broken pieces of
your life just like He did mine. The only true peace and happiness will be
found when walk in your God given purpose. You will always feel your best when
you know you have helped someone else succeed.
