The year is 2061, and the world's first and only flying car company, AirWay, has completely monopolized the transportation industry. The story follows Stan Beverley, the founder and CEO of AirWay, and Oliver Dwyer, a construction worker whose wife and son tragically perished in a Barnstormer crash years ago. While his heart is filled with pain, the world around him is under a global recession and economic collapse, leaving Oliver with no choice but to work for the company he despises so much.

  • “The World of Flying” is Sean Leslie’s debut novel. Sean is 27 years old, from Winnipeg Manitoba. Before the Covid-19 pandemic began, he was working as an Event Coordinator.     As things shut down in March 2020, Sean began writing his first novel “The Greed in Me”, a young-adult thriller about four kids in high-school. He completed it in three months, and then began writing more out of his realm, starting with Science Fiction. He has found joy in story-telling, and feels writing fiction has truly changed his life. His next book dives into the restaurant and service industry, aiming to have it done by Summer 2021. Sean believes this is just the tip of the iceberg of what is yet to come.
