Mini turned to writing as a means of coping with her struggles. She spent most of her life living burdened with ‘whys’ — the answerless questions left by all the terrible things that happened to her. Soon, she realised that living with ‘whys’ on repeat was drowning her, and she began her journey on a path to light — to a better life. Mini found writing gave her the peace and strength she had long been searching for. It soon dawned on Mini that the words could be more than a way to soothe her own mind. The sentences flowing from her pen could provide a metaphorical shoulder for others to lean on, a hand to guide others suffering. With this awareness, inspiration began flowing even stronger for Mini. She wished to show others the power of simply trying and that by showing up, trying every day to conquer the issues, they can take significant steps forward.
