I was born in
Sioux City, Iowa and raised in a Catholic School I.C. and Midwest. I moved to
Texas at age 12 years old and graduated Keller High School in 1988. My family
resides in Ft Worth, and I have lived in Dallas, Texas the last twenty years. I
am a restaurant baby, and I have a hotel/restaurant business degree from North
Texas University 1993. I became a restaurant manager at 19 years old and ten
years restaurant management. I switched careers at age thirty and twenty years
in sales & recruitment industry. I opened my own staffing company
KD-Staffing in 2007 and we recruit hospitals nationwide. In 2018, I opened a
second company KDC-Making A difference, LLC, for international public speaking
and books. My first book is a government book, “Togetherness-People’s Ideas for
the Common People.” My second book, “Riding the Executive Roller
Coaster-Medical Staffing Cases,” hit international bestseller in March 2021.

What
inspired you to author your book?
My second book
was written as an inspirational testimonial book. For a period of two years, I have been
begged and begged about selling original copies of a 225-page litigation book
delivered to the White House in early 2018. Channel 11 news Texas followed me
around three years on this story. I cannot sell the copies. I am incredibly
passionate and excited to release my second book called “Riding the Executive
Roller Coaster-Medical Staffing Cases” that tells the story. It is a book about
lawsuits, court cases, broken laws, including attorneys, courthouses, Texas
Attorney General, Washington DC, FBI, and government officials. It is also a
life story and pieces of my life story from 2010 to 2018 and my industry. Why
regulate the staffing industry with more fair laws? Read the book. Its
fictional characters are based on real court records, public records, and
office drama that goes down badly.

Where
did you get the inspiration for your book’s cover?
My inspiration
for the book cover revolved around a roller coaster. Life can be up and down
like a roller coaster. This book tells the story of an executive (myself as
Kathryn Lane) being on the top in business and life, falling to the lowest
level and getting back up with rebuilding years to recover. How do you get back
up in life, and do you have “what it takes” to rebuild and climb the mountain
in life again?
Who
has been the most significant influence on you personally and as a writer?
My writing is self-motivated
and a way to tell real-life stories and events with fictional characters. I
have a life program ad life coach that personally helped me develop skills and
effective people skills that I use current day to attempt to make a difference
in this world.

What
were your struggles or obstacles you had to overcome to get this book written?
Book projects
can take years while writing part-time and running my company KD-Staffing. The
original 225-page litigation book took two years on the rewrite to tell the
story from 2010 to 2018. I finished the rewrite myself because the government,
legal work, and court cases are my own personal story and documents.
Information had to be deleted for legal reasons, but original documents were
left in the book for readers to view.

your readers about your book.
This is a
fictionalized book based on real life events and court cases that went
unnoticed by the public eye over the period of a decade in this country. The
author plays the primary role in the book; the book covers the trials and
tribulations of professional offices at their highest and lowest moments. The
consequences of handling business and professional issues in the wrong manner
or even illegally can escalate and destroy many lives along the way. Too often,
bosses and employees learn the hard way about employment laws designed to help
businesses. When a business goes terribly wrong, you can expect attorneys’
offices to explode and many court proceedings to follow. One of my greatest
wishes in life is for business leaders to learn employment laws before trouble,
lawsuits, and mass destruction. This book follows the long path
of success and falling in despair over lawsuits and loss; it includes all the
important life lessons to be learned along life’s path. Our jobs and well-being
can affect our families, friends, relationships, and love life. This is a life
story rolling through some good and bad experiences and all the people you meet
along the life’s journey.BUY NOW ON AMAZON
We have a
lot of survivors and fighters in this world who can relate to the book’s title,
“Riding the Executive Roller Coaster—The Cases of Medical Staffing.” Life can
be “up” and “down” like a roller coaster; you just must hang on for the ride
and keep going.
As a woman in today’s world, Kelli Christina

years of specialized medical recruiting experience and 10 years in business
management, she is currently the CEO, owner, and director of recruiting for KD-Staffing.
Ms. Christina created KD-Staffing on the idea that “recruiting is an art.” She
has perfected her skills in this “art” through several managerial and
leadership positions since the start of her career; she became a restaurant
manager and a boss at nineteen years old. Before she started a career in
recruiting, Ms. Christina obtained a bachelor’s degree in business, hotel, and
restaurant management from the University of North Texas. With 30 years of
career experience, her advice to younger generations of women entering the
workforce is to remember the importance of education. She also advises them to
be strong-willed and to never give up.

If
you were going to give one reason for anyone looking at your book to read, why
should they buy it?
The book is a
part of history. It is an original federal investigation that I filed in the
United States in 2016. It reveals my government and legal work while trying to
make a positive difference in a $200 billion dollar industry called staffing.
Current day, I public speak in the medical industry about more fair laws in our
industry, and I promote communication so that we can eliminate fraud in medical
staffing and our country.

What
do you consider your greatest success in life?
My branding as
a business professional revolves around troubleshooting problems, problem-solving,
“doing the right things,” and obeying laws in business while making top money
and success. I have won sales awards throughout my career while taking great
care of people.
What
one unique thing sets you apart from other writers in your genre?
My books are
all based on actual life events while using fictionalized characters to protect
people’s privacy. I have a planned third book coming in the next couple of years.
How
do you overcome writer’s block?
I tend to
write late nights and overnight for focus, quiet and creative dedicated time.
What
one piece of advice do you have for new authors?
I have a
couple of new authors that I am working with right now. My biggest advice
revolves around giving yourself credit for the book writing project because
these projects take dedicated time, money, and energy. Do not disappoint
yourself if you do not make millions on a new book as an author because book
sales take time. Work other jobs to pay bills while you create books and never
give up. Use the right professionals to promote and publish your book the right
way. I followed other famous authors and advice while promoting “Riding the
Executive Roller Coaster-Medical Staffing Cases.” Follow professional advice
and complete all action steps for results.
