This book was a great read! The Tokienesque quest with the Stephen Kinglike gore and evil lurking throughout the story is written in a style that sweeps you along for the ride. You are in the mind of the main character, a soldier named Travis Lehrman, who is pulled into the role of the reluctant hero. He finds himself pursuing the source of an ancient evil and trying to navigate spacetime to prevent destruction of his world. The author knows how to turn a phrase and paints a vivid picture that borders on cinematographic. I am hoping there will be a sequel!
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
So, I wrote a novel of fantastically escapist science fiction perfect for lockdowns and other reasons to just get away from where you are for a while, and titled it THE UNSATED.
