Today is a celebration as I have chosen today's Book of the Day as on that is very special because it honors all moms.

Today's author, Denise E. Ives, founder of the 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization World Super Moms, has released her first book, "A Little Girl's World Super Mom" and I think it is perfect to present to my readers today as I reflect on the passing of my beautiful mother, Helen V. Ray, January 19, 1933 and passed on January 8, 2020 -- the World's Best Super Mom. I want to thank Denise for such a great book and the importance of it. I am the youngest of five, my older brother and older sister are deceased, so it leaves my two sisters and me to keep her legacy intact. I have and always will remain my mom's little girl. To all of the Super Moms of the World, may you know how special you are and the legacy you leave. Your footprints last forever.

REVIEWS

"The book is entertaining, wonderfully-illustrated and well-written. It is filled with educational trivia about motherhood and a mother’s love for her children. Every stage of a child’s growth is described in detail and told in a fantastical manner, where the mom is a superhero through her child’s eyes.
I love the small moments that the mom and child share together. I think most children can relate and put themselves in the shoes of the main character and her memories the more she grows. I also feel a lot of love radiating from the book, and any reader will surely be infected with this love after reading it."

"A Little Girl's World Super Mom is about a little girl who narrates the story of her extraordinary mother and her unique display of powers whilst she is growing up. This little girl takes us through her amusing life and all of her mom’s magical powers from the ages of one to ten. This author has included humor and many realistic child-like anecdotes in this book, serving its purpose in fascinating and relating to young readers. In relation to that, the colorful illustrations also play a vital part in engaging children fully in the book. The writer has done a great job enlightening children on just how much mothers do for their children in an interesting and digestible way for children to comprehend. Also, many important moral values have been cleverly laced amongst the stories of the little girl further enriching this children’s tale. In my opinion, the language used is very suitable and easy for children to understand as well. This is a great children’s book and I highly recommend it."

"Wow! What a read!! A Little Girls World Super Mom author has solemnly expressed her gratitude to the mothers and it’s definitely worth a read. The writer's style of writing makes the reader feel the authenticity and deepness of the sweet words to a mother. Other than just recognizing the role of mothers to their children, the book can also be used as a benchmark to make the children value and respect their mothers. The book allows our youth to understand the struggles their mothers went through right from their inception up to an age where they are able to understand and learn things on their own. This book is a beautiful story for both child and mother."
