Tell your readers a little about yourself, where you grew up, where you live now, where you went to school etc. Let them get to know the personal you.

My doctorate, my tenured university teaching, and raising my family has happened in Pittsburgh, PA, even though I grew up in Akron, OH. I adore travel (during normal times), and I love being on stages around the world as a keynote speaker!

What inspired you to author this book?

My daughter noticed that I used to wear power suits to work, but now that I am an entrepreneur, I am in ball gowns at charity events or running around making deals on my cell phone with my kids in tow rocking yoga pants.

Where did you get the inspiration for your book’s cover?

It was originally very different but a friend of mine in the industry directed me towards this cleaner more modern look.

Who has been the most significant influence on you personally and as a writer?

I think this has to be my mom. She’s a creative genius who I have always looked up to and she have supported me through my writing, career, and with my kiddos!

What were your struggles or obstacles you had to overcome to get this book written?

I think the trickiest thing was really practicing what I preach with being authentically myself 100% which meant telling my truth as a mompreneur.

Tell your readers about your book.

If you are a person who is building a business and a brand, I have done the reset h for you about what other successful entrepreneurs have done (including myself) and I am ready to guide you in your journey!

Who is your target audience, and why?

Predominantly women entrepreneurs and those who want their own business/brand. This is because I have personally built my own company/brand. My clients and readers are seeking ways to monetize their purpose and passion.

What do you consider your greatest success in life?

I have earned titles ranging from “Best Business Woman” to “Entrepreneur of the Year”... However, I am most proud of being a mom!

What one unique thing sets you apart from other writers in your genre?

That I was a tenured university professor who took a leap of faith into the media world and became a CEO who also leads a nonprofit that helps women and children internationally (www.globalsisterhoodonline.org). Plus, I am the editor in chief of www.InspiringLivesMagazine.com. This is my 13th book and I love coaching other women entrepreneurs through my VIP 1:1 EmpowerU Master Class!
