Tell your readers a little about yourself, where you grew up, where you live now, where you went to school etc. Let them get to know the personal you.

I am from Lahore, Pakistan; I am born and raised in Lahore. I studied Law at the Middlesex University London.

What inspired you to author this book?

This story is somewhat based on an actual event. In the newspaper, I read that three university students who were killed in an encounter with law enforcement agencies. It was later revealed that all three youngsters were innocent. This incident somehow stuck in my mind, so I penned this manuscript, of course, fictionalized; the only thing common in this book and that news is three students. The rest you will find out when you read this crime/mystery novel.

Where did you get the inspiration for your book’s cover?

The cover of my book shows tree branches without any leaves on them. Like they are in autumn, and this cover somehow depicts the helplessness of those three souls.

Who has been the most significant influence on you personally and as a writer?

My elder brother Mian Murad Asghar Bhatti, has stood by me through my thick and thin and has always supported me in whatever venture I take on. I have been an avid reader since a very early age, and as I grew, I became fond of a few writers like Paulo Coehlo, Omer Shahid Hamid, and Fatima Bhutto; these are the people who inspired me to write.

What were your struggles or obstacles you had to overcome to get this book written?

The biggest obstacle I had was time to write because I work for my father full time. I resigned from my job and wrote this book, and I am in the process of writing my second book now.

Tell your readers about your book.

The story revolves around three best friends in college, and one night something terrible happens. I will not go into details and spoil the book for you, but I am sure that the readers will love it.

Who is your target audience, and why?

My target audience is adults from the age of 18 and upwards because this book is a lesson for youngsters, and it is informative for elders that how things go down behind their backs.

What do you consider your greatest success in life?

My greatest success in life until now is to have my name on a book.
