I was born and raised in South Carolina and attended Lander
University, Greenwood, where I attained a Bachelor of Science in
Sociology/Child and Family Studies. I love spoiling my niece and nephews. In my
free time, I love to travel. I also love serving my community through
volunteering at the United Way.
What inspired you to author this book?
After spending much time in prayer, I decided to create my own
Bible Affirmations in order to be intentional when I pray. When I realized many
of my prayers were being answered, I desired to share my positive experiences
with others.
Where did you get the inspiration for your book’s cover?
It was my intention to convey a feeling of supernatural
empowerment when reading the Bible. I wanted the cover to grab the reader's
attention and make them privy to the possibility of heaven's assistance when
they pray.
Who has been the most significant influence on you personally
and as a writer?
God has been my most significant influence on me personally and
as a writer. If it were not for him, I would have never had the fortitude to
write as I do.
What were your struggles or obstacles you had to overcome to get
this book written?
The main obstacle I had to overcome was deciding whether writing
the book would be "too simple" or not. I decided that if I published
the book and only one person was helped then it was worth writing. As of today,
I'm glad I did because it made the #1 New Release on Amazon in one hour in the
category of Religion & Short Reads and in Christian Meditations. It also
made it to #1 Best Sellers list on May 2nd, 2020 in the same two genres. To top
it off, I received feedback from many about how easy and applicable the book
was to them. So this proved that sometimes simple is better.

My target audience is anyone who desires to experience
manifested answers from the word of God. I say this because everyone may not
believe that God's power is still available for us today. However, there are
those that do believe but may not know how to obtain it, so this book is for
them.
What do you consider your greatest success in life?
I consider my greatest success in life was becoming a Christian
and resolving in my mind to be persistent no matter how many times I seem to
fail.
What one unique thing sets you apart from other writers in your
genre?
Although the Lord has blessed me with several degrees,
accolades, and awards, I feel what sets me apart from other writers in my genre
is the degree of humbleness with the information that I write. I strive to
promote egalitarianism when it comes to advancing in God's Kingdom and
spiritual progression.
