Today's book is about empowerment! Enjoy.
For so long People of color have relived themselves of any responsibility for their place in America. Some how it has become everyone’s fault but our own. However if we are going to change our place in America we have to start being honest with ourselves.
This book is collection of what has to be changed if we are going to rise to the occasion.

Tell your readers a little about
yourself, where you grew up, where you live now, where you went to school etc.
Let them get to know the personal you.
My name is SherryShurish Henderson I am
from High Point North Carolina. I now live in Charlotte North Carolina I am a
college graduate and I attended Rowan Cabarrus. I have a degree in medical
office administration, and I am the published author of a book entitled How
to Return to Greatness.
What inspired you to author this book?
At the beginning I didn’t actually set
out to write a book. I’m a avid learner which is actually one of my favorite
past times and after acquiring so much information concerning African-American
studies I needed to clear some space in my brain to make room for more
information concerning other topics. I began reading some of the information
that I learned to my husband, and he replied saying this sounds like a book and
that was the beginning of me becoming a writer.
Where did you get the inspiration for
your book’s cover?
I wanted to remind people of color what
truly mattered and to actually show them in a light that is completely
unfamiliar to them a family unit cohesiveness and in their true form kings
& queens.
Who has been the most significant
influence on you personally and as a writer?
Malcom X
What were your struggles or obstacles you
had to overcome to get this book written?
Deciding what I should put in the book
and what I should leave out as far as topics because there was so much
information that I have learned I had to pick and choose exactly the subjects I
was trying to convey and make sure they match the title And how to get it
published and edited.
Tell your readers about your book.
My book is to remind people of color of
the power we possess and how we can exhibit that power through self-accountability
self-reliance self-love and self-respect.
Who is your target audience, and why?
People of color humanitarian liberals and
millennials of all colors because together we can change the way people of
color are treated and viewed in America by actually looking into the hardships
that people of color face not only in America but around the globe.
What do you consider your greatest
success in life?
Having my daughter to carry on my legacy.
What one unique thing sets you apart from
other writers in your genre?
I refuse to blame anyone else’s for our
failures or shortcomings or Alleviate us from any responsibility or
accountability for our place in America. I truly believe that we will only get
change if we, ourselves, create it and that’s not gonna come from begging it’s
only gonna come from our hard work By exhibiting self-reliance, self-accountability,
and self-awareness.
